LIVING TRADITIONS FESTIVAL
The Living Traditions Festival supports the diverse artistic traditions and perspectives through the presentation of both historical and contemporary customs, facilitating thoughtful conversations about the unique qualities of various cultures, and the similarities of the human experience, while creating bonds among community members. https://saltlakearts.org/livingtraditionspresents/festival/

Friday, May 15 - School Day Program 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Friday, May 15 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday, May 16 Noon – 10:00pm
Sunday, May 17 Noon – 7:00pm
FESTIVAL LOCATION
Library Square and the adjacent Washington Square at 451 S. State Street in downtown Salt Lake City.
SETUP INFORMATION
You will be given a time slot to be able to get dressed in the dressing rooms, and 15 minutes to get your staging set up. Please be prepared to get ready in a quick turnaround time. If you need to do a sound check it must be done within the 15 minutes setup period.
TIME COMMITMENT
You will be assigned either a 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute time slot by the Artist Relations Lead.
ARTIST HONORARIUM
Each performing artist group will be provided with an artist honorarium.
REVIEW & SELECTION PROCESS
Interest forms are reviewed by the Salt Lake City Arts Council festival staff and Utah Division of Arts and Museum folk arts staff. The Salt Lake City Arts Council strives to make the selection process fair and equitable. Due to space limitations, we will be prioritizing curating a diverse lineup and limiting performances that are similar to others.
Performers must reside in the state of Utah.

INFORMACIÓN DE MONTAJE Se te asignará un horario para cambiarte en los camerinos y contarás con 15 minutos para montar tu escenografía. Por favor, prepárate para un proceso rápido. Si necesitas hacer una prueba de sonido, deberá realizarse dentro del periodo de montaje de 15 minutos.
COMPROMISO DE TIEMPO El/la responsable de Relaciones con Artistas te asignará un bloque de tiempo de 30, 45 o 60 minutos.
HONORARIOS PARA ARTISTAS Cada grupo de artistas escénicos recibirá un honorario.
PROCESO DE REVISIÓN Y SELECCIÓN Los formularios de interés son revisados por el personal del festival del Consejo de las Artes de Salt Lake City y por el personal de artes populares de la División de Artes y Museos de Utah. El Consejo de las Artes de Salt Lake City se esfuerza por que el proceso de selección sea justo y equitativo. Debido a limitaciones de espacio, se dará prioridad a una programación diversa y se limitarán presentaciones similares entre sí. Los artistas deben residir en el estado de Utah.
